ETC.STUDIOS is the creative brainchild of Erik Ries. He is not only the Creative Director, but also the primary Designer, Finisher, Illustrator, Photographer and Artist for all projects. Ries has over 12 years in the entertainment industry, creating theatrical and home entertainment key art for movie studios such as 20th Century Fox, Sony Pictures, Paramount, Lion’s Gate Films, Fine Line, MGM and many more. A few of these years, He was an internal team member of such creative agencies as Art Machine (Los Angeles, CA) and Indika Entertainment Advertising (New York City, NY). If not, he was actively consulting with them and many others (samples of work). Ries earned an MFA from Pratt Institute’s Graduate Program in Communication & Packaging Design (New York City, NY) by way of Portland State University (Portland, OR), where he double-majored in Advertising Management and Marketing Management while being an NCAA Division I-AA college football standout and team captain. It was during his undergraduate studies that Ries developed a greater passion for the arts than the gridiron, and decided to pursue a path within the creative field through entrepeneurship, leading to the formation of ETC.STUDIOS 11 years later..............................................................................................................................................
ETC.STUDIOS has the strong desire is to remain a small shop in order to continue focusing on the passion that lies within the creative process in order to give each client and their projects the attention they deserve.......................................................
